I am an artist living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have been doing crafts, art and sewing since I was a kid. I grew up in a creative home and was inspired by nature at a young age at our family cabin in the woods. I love all things plants, flowers, trees, cactus, chickens and especially cats. I'm an avid gardener, learning from my mom. Currently I'm working on water colors and mixed media paintings.
One of my favorite flowers is a sweet pea. It reminds me of my mom who grew great sweet peas. I'm a third generation quilter and have a special love of fabric. I make lots of baby quilts, place mats and hot pads. I like bright colors, especially the inspiration from our vivid blue skies in Santa Fe.
I believe God has given me a gift and I have a strong desire to paint His world for the rest of us to see...maybe in a way you haven't seen before.
And I can't forget...I love dark chocolate!
